Il western Hostiles di Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Il fuoco della vendetta – Out of the Furnace, Black Mass – L’ultimo gangster) sarà il film di apertura della Festa del Cinema di Roma 2017. Protagonisti sono Christian Bale e Rosamund Pike.

Il film, presentato in anteprima mondiale il 2 settembre 2017 al Telluride Film Festival, è stato proiettato anche Toronto International Film Festival.
