Tra il coro di voci che hanno attaccato duramente Woody Allen e rinnegato le partecipazioni ai suoi film (in relazione all’accusa di molestie sessuali formulata dalla figlia adottiva Dylan Farrow nel 1993), una si è distaccata: è quella di Alec Baldwin, che ha ritenuto giusto difendere il regista su Twitter.

L’attore ha sottolineato il fatto che non ci siano state accuse formali a seguito delle indagini: “Rinnegare il lavoro fatto con Allen è ingiusto e triste“.

Ecco le parole scritte da Baldwin su Twitter:

“Woody Allen was investigated forensically by two states (NY and CT) and no charges were filed. The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt, has some purpose. But it’s unfair and sad to me. I worked w WA 3 times and it was one of the privileges of my career“.

E ancora: “Lo scopo non è rifiutare o ignorare le accuse di molestie. Ma si dovrebbe fare attenzione nell’addossare alle persone crimini come questi“.
