Si è svolta ieri sera la cerimonia di premiazione degli Independent Spirit Awards: a vincere come miglior film è The Farewell - Una bugia buona, che si porta a casa anche il premio per la miglior attrice non protagonista (Zhao Shuzhen). Tre statuette anche per Diamanti Grezzi dei fratelli Safdie, snobbatissimo dall'Academy: miglior regia, miglior montaggio e miglior attore protagonista ad Adam Sandler (un premio meritatissimo per una performance davvero straordinaria).
