Secondo quanto riporta Variety, il regista russo Kirill Serebrennikov sta lavorando su una serie basata sulla vita di Andrej Tarkovskij. Serebrennikov si occuperà di regia e sceneggiatura, mentre i produttori saranno Pavel Burya, Murad Osmann e Ilya Stewart, che ha dichiarato: «Tarkowskij e i suoi capolavori hanno influenzato il mondo del cinema e continuano ad essere fonte di ispirazione per le nuove generazioni: lavorare insieme a Serebrennikov è un privilegio». Hype Film ha prodotto le opere precedenti di Serebrennikov e anche Petrov's Flu, attualmente in fase di post-produzione.

Hype Film’s Cannes slate includes “Petrov’s Flu,” which is being sold by Charades, and Vadim Perelman’s Berlin player “Persian Lessons,” which is being sold by Memento. The company will also look to close more territories on the sci-fi actioner “Sputnik,” Egor Abramenko’s directorial debut which was selected for Tribeca and acquired by IFC Midnight for U.S. theatrical release. Art Pictures Distribution is selling the film internationally.
