La notte degli Oscar è ormai alle porte e, solitamente, i SAG Awards anticipano le statuette più importanti, in particolare per quanto riguarda il premio al Miglior cast d'insieme, che spesso ha anticipato la statuetta per il miglior film. L'edizione 2021 dei SAG Awards entra nella storia, sia per la modalità di svolgimento (i vincitori erano tutti in collegamento video), sia per i premi: per la prima volta sono stati premiati quattro attori di colore, tra cui Chadwick Boseman e Viola Davis, protagonisti di Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
